A little baking soda and salt sprinkled in the glass; hand-scrub & rinse. Spotless!
(Gotta give credit to someone else who posted this method a while back on a different thread)

    I must be a heathen.
I use the regular sponge and dish soap (I do wash glasses first thing when I'm doing dishes, and I do rinse the sponge off well after finishing last time and before starting this time)
I wash throroughly, inside and out, rinse several times, then upside down on a towel.
I don't have any problems with spotting or leftover dirt / nucleation sites (unless it's SWMBO who washed the dishes / glasses last)
I will occasionally even put my glasses in the dishwasher. THE HORROR!!!!

Final rinse while wet with distilled water.

Air dry upside down on a rack.

It definitely promotes the bouquets of certain beer styles

I'm always paranoid my dishwasher will leave soap in the glasses, so I rinse them out with water before I pour the beer anyway. I don't think a few small drops of water will affect a well-made beer.

I never use soap/detergent on my glasses. I just rinse then out and air dry them. If they have spots, I rub them off with a paper towel.

I'm ridiculous when it comes to washing beer glasses. My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts, but when she does dishes I end up with nucleation bubbles everywhere and absolutely miserable head retention with no lacing, so forget her.

    Anywho, here's my method:

Fill both sinks, the first with super hot water and just a bit of Oxy Clean. The second sink with warm rinse water. Scrub with a standard dish brush and rinse (heel in, heel out) in the sink of rinse water. Enter spray bottle of Star San/water mix... spray 2-4 squirts (depending on size of glass) and let air dry in dish rack. When the time comes to use the beer glass, rinse thoroughly in cold water.

Yeah, I'm probably overzealous, but my beers always pour amazingly well.

Also, the Star San spray bottle is an extremely useful tip I picked up for homebrewing some time ago...and since it's always in my kitchen, I figured it would be a good way to easily duplicate the professional three-sink method at home.
