I'm heading up to Madison, WI from Indiana this weekend. Does Toppling Goliath distribute there or anywhere that does growler fills? Thx!

Pseudo Sue comes around every few weeks or so, but none this week. Sosus and King Sue came through yesterday in very limited quantities, but disappeared in minutes. The only places that currently do growler fills are the local breweries, but there have been recent changes to city legislature that's allowing for filling stations at grocery stores and the like, so that'll be coming in the near future. Unfortunately no options for TG fills at the moment.

Fresh Market starts filling growlers on Monday but their initial offering is nothing to stay over for.

    WI Brewing Zenith
    NB Tour de Fall
    Lake Louie Scotch Ale
    Johnny Appleseed hard cider

    But it's a start!

Really hoping more of these catch on here. Definitely jealous of the Milwaukee area and their growler filling options.

Hey smchenry! - if you can take a side trip, Showboat Saloon in the Dells (45-60 minutes from Madison) often has Sue on tap, and as of a few months ago they filled growlers.

If you are just looking to drink some Cooper's Tavern has it on tap.

I was just there last night and they had PseudoSue as well as Zombie Dust on tap, among many other great options (Idiot Farm and Dave's Brewfarm Black Sour were both excellent).

I need to start looking at what Coopers Tavern has on tap on a very regular basis I have never found TG on tap and would love to get Zombie Dust on tap. I was just in on Saturday and did not see any of those.

It was still there Saturday morning after the farmer's market. We hunkered down with some sue during the rain. It's never listed on the print menu and sometimes doesn't even make it on the board so keep an eye on the tap handles.

Madison has become a TG mad house. Because they announce their deliveries ahead of time, folks have a chance to literally follow Chad around from shop to shop. Some shops allow you to put your name on a list for TG, others just put it out for whoever gets there first. Reports are that TG hunters have started following Chad as far as Lake Delton. Liquor Central's supply used to at least make it through 2 days, but now it's selling out as soon as it gets there. Your best bet is probably Trixie's- watch TG's facebook and call Trixie's the morning it is delivered to try to get on their list. Alpine has a beer club you can join (not sure if it costs anything) and you could probably land a bottle or two that way as well.

Milwaukee has some good growler fill spots, and we should see more TG in town over the next six months.

As far as the growler filling goes, TG is switching distribution to bottle only for the immediate future. Draft will only be available on site in Decorah. So maybe with the upped bottle distribution the stuff will be on the shelf for two days, instead of one, after TG delivers to Wisconsin (truck chasers being a wild card admittedly).

No kegs at all? Man, that's a bummer. Always loved stopping at Showboat & Coffee Grounds while driving up the 94 for a glass of whatever TG was on tap.

Luckily, it sounds like it's just a temporary thing. I guess they need to get some distribution things figured out. They will be raking in the cash by going bomber only. Gotta pay the bills, works out well for the business. As long as they keep delivering bottles to the Coffee Grounds I'm fine with it.

Keep an eye on TG's facebook and twitter. You can always call up Trixie's any morning and ask, or see if they're willing to put you on the list ahead of time. If you live in Southwestern or South-Central Wisconsin and are willing to be mildly inconvenienced, you'll land some TG at some point.
