Its a popular brewery right now and everyone wants it. People that happen to live close aren't "entitled" to it any more than someone that lives in Chicago or Pennsylvania.

Yeah they are. That's the point of local craft breweries.

I dunno, I could get like 349396 Sagas for the price of all the Pseudosue that was sold today.

While I agree, Saga is freekin awesome. But the point of Sue is that for now it is somewhat limited. A lot harder for TG to get beers bottled and out there at there size so the price is justified somewhat.... Although I do hate the bomber format... TG is currently the only brewery I support that format in.

Had my first few bottles of Sue, and I gotta say, it poops all over Saga. In fact why even drink Saga when we have easy access to all these delicious West Coast IPA's like Ballast Point and Green Flash, hmmm?

Woah there, Saga has its place and it is near the top of IPAs.... GF West Coast is one of my favorites but I will drink it side by side with Saga and in no way does Saga taste like a "budget IPA" It is just a great beer sold at even a better price which possibly actually hurts its score:grimacing:

Also grabbed some Sue from Woodmans in Onalaska, I saw two people grab about 8 bottles each while I was there so get it while you can folks!

And why drink Surly as well :grinning:

But seriously, I'd rather have Saga over GF most of the time (and that's before considering the price difference).

Sosus won't be available again by then. I hope to brew it again by December, but some of it will depend on the new crop of Mosaic. The good news though, is that there will be more hoppy beers bottled as well in the next few months. X-hop varieties, new German citrus varieties, and maybe some DIPA versions of some of the current Hop Patrol beers. Can't wait to start using some of these hops!

Just to clarify a little bit, the new equipment is in, but haven't brewed any beer on it yet. Completed the first grain run on it last night. It's close, just not quite ready yet. The slight increase in production is from being able to get all of our tanks operational and brewing an insane amount of double and triple batches. Cannot wait to have a single brew on the new system fill up one of those fermenters rather than having to brew three times.

This thread make sme sick to my stomach! I wish TG would adopt a New Glarus distro strategy an Keep it here in IA where it belongs. Seeing you folks in Madtown and in MN getting your fill while the shelves in Des Moines are empty ticks me off! Oh well all is fair in love, war and great beer distro enjoy it and think of the rest of us thirsty Iowans who are going to have to go without ; )

There's some Sosus headed to Des Moines next week. Keep an eye on our Facebook and you should be able to get some.

Well actually La Crosse WI is way closer to the brewery then Des Moines.... So maybe we should just get it all . In all seriousness New Glarus is grabbed up from people from Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. It is beer, the wealth should be spread! And the only time beer should make you sick to your stomach is when you drink to much of it!
