    And last time I checked you don't need a reservation at El Bait Shop, Zombie Burger, or The Keg Stand to drink a pint of TG.

    So I ask Todd again, what is the problem.

    Sounde like someone has a bad case of Three Floydsitis! "FFF is an Indiana brewery, but they send all there beer to Chicago. Bitch. Moan. Bitch. Moan."
    Problem for you is Des Moines is further from TG than Minneapolis. Now on top of that Minneapolis is just a little bit of a bigger market than DSM. So as a business you can choose to ship your goods further (higher cost) to a market with less growth potentia,l or you can do what they are ccurrently doing. And as someone else pointed out, Minnesota hasn't actually received any TG. It has all gone to Hudson, where it takes most TC residents at least 30 minutes to get to, yet it still flys off the shelf in less than a day.

    You may get more sympathy over in the Great Lakes forum from some of the Indianapolis residents as they were some of the first diagnosed cases of the affliction for which you now suffer from.

    Cripes. Why do people not realize that the more demand and wider distrub. the better. They are increasing their business. They are growing. In three years you are going to see TG handles in every fuckin' bar in Iowa you go to. And you are going to take it for granted. Damn near every bar in the TC, from the most well regarded craft establishment to the shittiest BMC outpost, has Furious on tap.

    Quit crying. Us Minnesotans TRAVELING to get this beer is a big push in the direction that you want TG to be going.

    TG should have stuck with a 1 BBL system and only served the people of Decorah :rolling_eyes:

    I am sure your market got as much as everyone elses, if not more.... Des Moines is a bigger city, therefore more people buying the beer... Sold out in Madison, WI almost instantly to. Here in La Crosse, WI (which is way closer to Decorah FYI) I can still go get some a week later! Sometimes it pays to live in the smaller city:slight_smile:

    Its just beer bro drink on!

    Cheers

    Wow the Three Floyds-Indianapolis bitching is even worse. FFF is a Chicago area brewery, period. They should get most of the FFF beer.

    Maybe, just maybe you forgot that this was the SECOND time it was bottled and the very FIRST time that it was bottled in their new setup. They are a small and still new brewery, but have great growth potential. New Glarus has been around for decades and still can just keep up with demand in WI. There will be a time when bottles get passed up on the shelves.
    I had to sit and watch as people on the MN and IL border got CW coffee stout and BB Scotch Ale weeks before it even made it to Madison WI. When it finally did arrive it flew off the shelves, but it can still be found months later.

    Sue = Zombie Dust.
    Sosus = Dreadnaught.

    Blind taste tests prove it.

    Agreed! IMHO Sue>ZD. My point was that, and I understand u may not have responding to my post, Sue won't sit on the shelf, much like ZD. Great beers don't sit, regardless of numbers. See Surlyfest, Oracle, Etc...

    Heading to Des Moines today. I know it's a slim chance, but does anyone know of a place that might still have a bottle?

    I'm happy with tap, but my friend is dying for a bottle.

    Unfortunately, it's all gone. You may be able to set up an IP trade with a local, but won't find it on shelves in DSM.

    Benz in Cedar Rapids has several. I have seen it at the Hy-Vee's in both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. It is normally at John's in Iowa City, My fridge always has some. Red's in N.L. always has some.
