PtY at Hollingshead

They were using this release to sell mugs too? Did it have an interesting logo on it or was it just their usual Spaten or Weihenstephaner mugs they were trying to get rid of? Still lame to have to purchase a glass you may not want with your beer.

 

It is a hollingshead/ younger engraved mug.

 

It would be nice if they got rid of the hundred or so personal glasses just taking up space. Also, having a chalk board or some sort of list on the wall with what's on tap would be a plus. Squeezing through people to try and get a look at the taps gets old. But I guess this should be saved for another thread...

As usual, Pizza Port did the Pliny release right. Just slyly announced on facebook, first come first serve. And I say this as some one who just missed the last pour. But my friends were there and drank 3 glasses of the stuff each. At 6 bucks a pop, that's 20 bucks for 30 oz of Younger. (PS-Some one left me 6 oz to drink because they felt bad. So I got a taste for free!)

 

I usually describe the size of a line by its location to staples as well. Before or at staples is usually an acceptable length, but you'll rarely find me standing in a line that stretches beyond staples.

 

Its the only standard i use. It becomes a little tricky when the line is in the middle of staples.
