    Hello,

I'll be staying for a few days in Denver in LoDo and around the Pearl Street area in Boulder and I would appreciate brewery and pub recommendations. I live in San Francisco and can get Great Divide and Avery so I would appreciate recommendations for brewpubs whose beer I won't see out here.

    Thanks!

Boulder Beer Company is awesome. Left Hand and Oskar Blues in Longmont aren't far from Boulder (~15 min). Also Southern Sun in Boulder is a great spot.

Wynkoop Brewpub is awesome, and of coarse Falling Rock. Both are within walking distince (may be even considered part of) the LoDo district. Also worth the drive is Golden City Brewery. A really unique place that is a must stop for me.

Denver....Fallling Rock Taphouse best bar, imo. Freshcraft and Hops and Pie best spots if you want to package the beer and food combination.

Up in Boulder definitely do Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids.

    Breweries near LoDo:
    Denver Beer Co.
    River North

    Brewpubs:
Vine Street Pub (part of Mountain Sun)
    Wynkoop

Bars & Restaurants with extensive taps (not Brewpubs):
    Fallingrock Tap House
    Freshcraft
    Hops & Pie
    Euclid Hall
    Star Bar
    Cheeky Monk

There's about a bazillion options. Strange, Wit's End, Rock Bottom, Denver Chop House, Ale House at Amato's, the list just keeps going on.

This forum seems to have one of these threads every other day, Denver isn't that big a city.

I wonder if the bros would let us have a sticky in the Mountain forum..."Places to visit in Denver". Could have the same for Vegas and a few of the other cities that we frequently see these types of posts for.

beermapping.com is a good place to start. So many to list. But don't shy away from Avery or Great Divide; they may have 'special beer' on tap...more so at Avery.

Agreed. Back before everything went down I was going to suggest that. We probably need to look into it, as we want to be helpful...but end up answering the same question almost every week.
