I'm in Nashville with some fellow BA'ers. We are looking for a few good pubs for drinking and getting some good food. We did the Flying saucer yesterday. Now looking for something different. Thanks.
M.L. Rose on 8th Ave. S for beer and burgers. Craft Brewed (bottle shop/tasting room) is nearly right across the street. Hop Stop and/or Village Pub in East Nashville. Not a huge fan of their food, and if it doesn't appeal to you, go to Mitchell's Deli (high-gravity taps). Edley's or Peg Leg Porker for BBQ. Peg Leg is probably better and is near Yazoo/Jackalope. Blackstone or Bosco's for brewpubs. Higher end: Husk (has Blackberry Farm bottles) Two Ten Jack (great food; good tap list) If there's anything in particular you're looking for as far as food, I can make better recommendations.
^^^^^Thanks. I'm thinking husk for lunch and some of your other recommendations for afternoon beers. Much appreciated.
Not a pub but.... you really need to give Prince's Hot Chicken a go while in town... just make sure its on the way back to the hotel... I like the feel of 3 Crows Bar as well....
I wanted to get some hot chicken on my way from town but in a hurry. I had lunch at Husk and drank my dinner. I was in town for Panic so I was limited to the Broadway Brew House, which was not the best. They had a ton of macro crafts which I don't really seek out normally. I appreciate the suggestions. I have some other places to try next time in town.
