There really haven't been too many leftovers, but we will be cycling the partial kegs back on as space allows. We have been blowing through a ridiculous number of kegs, including pretty much everything from Cascade, Block 15 (except the 1/2bbl of 15th Ann.) and De Garde. Amazingly, the Temptation and Supplication kegs made it through yesterday and will make a brief reappearance at some point.

Unfortunately, neither of the Crush variants survived the hordes. The Cucumber kicked Friday night, and the 50 liter keg of Apricot that went on Saturday was dead by the time I got off work at 5 yesterday :slight_frown:

As for growlers, it's unlikely given that most of the kegs have been 1/6bbls. That said, the goal after the fest is to burn through stuff as fast as possible and return the taplist to some semblance of normalcy, so I'll definitely suggest it.

Anyone else try the Rev Nat's Sacrilege Cherry/The Passion cask? Wasn't sure what to expect, but it seemed like the cherry completely overwhelmed the passionfruit flavors. Really enjoyed the Apricot Crush.

FYI, there are no lines and plenty of space right now, and both of the flights are fantastic.

Agreed. Get a flight of both and you will be a more than happy camper.

The sour barleywine was interesting. Did I enjoy my 4 oz pour for what it was yes. Could I drink a bomber of it definitely not but I do appreciate the creativity of it.

In case anyone is curious I just got back from Belmont station and they still had the Block 15 anniversary beer on if you need another reason to make the trip.

I got a lot of rum from the barley wine. as I finished it I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I love a beer that makes me think like that. So truly unique it makes you question your palate. It was definitely a fun adventure.

A joke I was making while drinking the Oude English was about the Chinese curse "may you live in interesting times." I had an elaborate (drunken) sociological soliloquy - something about in times of privation, "interesting" was generally a bad thing ... but in decadent times like our own, "interesting" was the most prized experience ... we become less risk averse and more reward oriented. Made brilliant sense at the time but I think it basically boils down to the fact that I'd take an "interesting" experience with the potential for transcendence over a predictably good experience any day. We all have to chose where to put our dollars and I'll put my dollars into adventure over risk aversion.

So from now on when I order a De Garde or a Block 15 beer, by toast is going to be a "curse": "may you drink interesting beer."

The last day of puckerfest was a good one. Upright all over the menu with solid offerings. Trinity pouring their swing line series.....no charge mind you. The original swing line is a top beer in my book. As usual, the staff was excellent. Solid event, glad I was able to partake a couple days.

The Solera Peche kicked the night of the event, but the (very partial) keg of Kriek just went back on. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but if you're in the neighborhood you might as well swing by and hope for the best.

Upright Small World saison was incredible, blew Jeux D'eau away in my opinion. Lactovasilios w/plums on the other hand... woof.
