Hey all, I opened a Pugachev's Cobra 2012 with some friends yesterday, and it was pretty stellar stuff. How I like my monster stouts: on the roasty side, not too sweet. I got it as part of a bigger trade and really wouldn't know what they take to get. Also trying to get a Pugachev Royale, and I'd like to know what to offer up for it without looking like a grade A tit. I'm in Belgium, so probably best to think in those terms. I was trying to get one with a Fou Foune 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013. Got some looks but nothing ever worked out.
I think it was really low bottle count, one of the "usual suspects" like Hommage would probably bring it out, maybe get you one + something else, depending on the trader...
I have not had any luck offering Hommage or 50N, and that's a stateside trade. So to convince someone to go international, probably more than those.
Thank God I was informed in time it was only a small bottle. Looks pretty cool, but I'll try to "stumble" upon it more than actually looking for it. I try to cut down on whale chasing
No wonder my IP thread post only has one view lol . I traded my Pugachevs Cobra for Marshal Zhukov fairly easy to get in the IE area. And they keep making more every year so maybe you'll have a better chance at landing regular PC.
