I'm trying to understand the pros and cons of the center inlet vs inline March & Chugger pumps. I notice that the center inlet versions are 3/4", while the inline is 1/2", which they say allows greater flow rate. But, something I read also suggested that the pump might get unhappy if it's restricted to less then 3/4" before the inlet. So, if I have 1/2" bulkheads on my kettle & mash tun, should I stick with the inline? Or will I be okay with either?
