Pumpkin Ale Clarity

    So first time brewing a pumpkin and although the krausen has dropped from the typical active foam layer it's not clearing, see below picture.

    Do I just need to go under the layer with the auto syphon when I rack to secondary? Anyone else see this? If relevant, I did brew with real pumpkin and it's been a little over a week thus far in primary.

    Based on what I can see in the picture (which looks like yeast), I'd say 'rack normally' when the time comes. You'll leave the very top part behind anyway.

    consider cold crashing as well if possible
