Those Rogue prices though! I've heard good things about it. I just can't swing the price on that one regularly. Isn't it a $9-$10 bomber? I thought it was.

It's pricey, but worth trying once or twice.

How about Samuel Adams 'Fat Jack'? It's a double/imperial pumpkin ale. Oh, and it's 8.5%

Worth checking out. Not bad at all, at 6% ABV. Nothing overly done.

    Cheers!

Boulevard Funky Pumpkin or Funkier Pumpkin - not creamy, but two of my favorite pumpkin beers, especially if you like a slight tartness.

I agree with the majority(?) that pumpkin beers offering a high ABV are more enjoyable than the lower ABV offerings...The Fear (Flying Dog) @ 9% is my absolute favorite.

However, UFO Pumpkin (Harpoon) is a really tasty for something in the style and at a lower ABV%.

Two I like alot lower in abv:
Flying dogs Pumpkin IPA I think it's around 6.5%
Two Roads RoadsMary's Baby. Aged in rum barrels without the alcohol kick. One of the better pumpkins IMO

Just had an Elysian Punkuccino and It was pretty awesome. Its 5% abv I believe but drinks much bigger.

I had the night owl pumpkin last year, and I didn't like it at All. Definitely would not revisit.
Fwiw, I've only had a few pumpkin beers, and didn't care for any.

I will give strong support for Selin's Grove pumpkin ale.....it's fantastic and worth any trip. Their other beers are solid as well.

Punkuccino would be a good alternative. They hit here in Central PA. Another local one that's not bad is Baked Pumpkin Ale by Lancaster Brewing Company and one that I want to try is HorseHeads Pumpkin Ale that comes in at 6.6%.

I am getting ready for my second annual Pumpkin Fest so I am keeping my eyes open for new/interesting pumpkin beers.
