Pumpkin Beer is back!!

    I'm from Southeast Michigan (Detroit area), and 2 weeks ago I had a craving for pumpkin beer. I knew of one place who had Pumking left over from last year, so I bought it. It was still good.

    Last weekend, I went to my usual store and saw Shipyard Pumpkinhead. I bought a sixer and it got me in the spirit of Autumn. Pumpkinhead is great, btw.

    Back to my point, I drank the six pack in no time and had to go back two days later....and thats when I saw New Holland's Ichabod and Arcadia's Jaw Jacker. The Ichabod is very, very good.

    Now that Michigan Brewing went under, will there be no more Screaming Pumpkin? And what are your favorite pumpkin beers (great lakes region)

    Schlafley's is pretty good, Wild Onion's is decent as well. If you really want an awesome pumpkin beer, I suggest trying Elysian's The Great Pumpkin and Dark of the Moon and Saint Arnold's Divine Reserve 9.

    Pumpkin beers rule, I dont understand why people dont like them more.
