I found one place close to Pittsburgh. Tons in Ohio, where I got mine. They also sell it around me, but I'm in Lancaster.

Oh everyone around here has Southern Tier, just no Pumking.

One grocery store in my area is getting it at some point, doesn't know when, and it will be limited.

Weird. I know one store here in Columbus had it all year long. Either they ordered way too much or the stuff just didn't sell (Im guessing both).

According to the Beer Finder, supposedly Brentwood Dist in West Mifflin has Pumking.

I asked this in another thread, but has anyone had the Blue Mountain Brewery Spooky Ale? It's a pumpkin beer brewed with chocolate and aged in bourbon barrel. The bottle is pretty cool too, I haven't opened it yet.

Got it at a local bottle shop when I saw them Tweet a picture of it from their account. They had one bottle left. Kind of expensive at around $12 for something that doesn't have much of a reputation yet. Hell, it's not even registered in the BeerAdvocate system yet. Untappd has about 30 check-ins with it, but not enough ratings to get a feel of how good it is. Here's the bottle cover:

I have tried the Pumpkick and it was alright. The problem with so many pumpkin beers like Pumpkick, even though it's my favorite seasonal style, is that most aren't pumpkinish enough, or they over spice and mask the pumpkin flavor. I think that's why Pumking is always on peoples favorites list of pumpkin beers because, though too sweet to some, it's got lots of pumpkin flavor. Dogfish does a good job, New Holland's Ichabod is pretty good too, and there are a number of others, but it's more miss than hit.
