Not seen that yet, but I am hunting it. SW Mizzou gets a decent selection of ST, so I'm hoping it's just slow to release like some seasonals...

I get ya, a lot of them just seem to be some sort of ale + nutmeg & allspice, those do nothing for me either.

Zactly. I think it's the nutmeg. So many seem to go overboard with it. If a brewer could tone it down with the allspice, then maybe. Just maybe.

I like this beer quite a bit but for my money it's a porter.

I'm going to get my hands on more of it but for an imperial stout, which it calls itself, it's a lightweight.

    Excelllent pumpkin beer though.

Tried Warlock yesterday at a bar and it tasted like cough syrup. I have no idea if it was bad but it makes me not want to open my pumking anymore.

After trying Schlafly this year, I have to say it's my favorite so far. Just a great, no frills pumpkin beer. I also tried Shipyard Pumpkinhead and was not a huge fan. I think it was just the spice balance in it. I really enjoy the style overall. It just adds more variety to my beer world.

I've only tried three pumpkin beers - ST Pumking, Uinta PUNK'N, and Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale. I don't think I found my favorite yet. Search goes on...

I've had Pumking, DFH Punkin, and Almanac, as well as other forgettables, and the only one I loved was Almanac. That being said, I still haven't tried Good Gourd yet.

Rumpkin (Avery), but good luck finding it, and Autumn Maple (The Bruery)- well, technically it's brewed with yams.
