I haven't seen very much talk about this one, but St-Ambroise Citrouille by McAuslan Brewing was possibly my favorite so far. It's definitely worth I try if you can pick up one.

Had Crown Valley Recently thanks to one of my El Catadors... loved it! Totally different, but its one of my favorite pumpkins. Good Gourd is far and away #1 though.

I didn't drain pour Warlock, but the creme brulee side of it really makes me gag. Its the only Pumpkin beer i've had that I would have even remotely considered pouring b/c of how much I hate ST Creme Brulee

Kuhnhenn's Kurbis (soured All Hallows Ale) was incredible. My new favorite.

It's decent, nothing special. DEFINITELY not worth $25 a 4-pack. Plenty of other superior pumpkin's out there. Avery Rumpkin is phenomenal.

There are very few beers that are worth that price for a 4 pack. None of them have pumpkin.

..or maybe anything else, (ie Pumpkin Pie w/ a nice big Dallop of whipped cream). - not an advocate on pumpkin beers, 'cuz I'm really not that into them anymore, but - just sayin' thats kind of a silly statement. Who just eats plain Pumpkin anything?
Ever have a Warlock or Pumking? They're about the only ones out there that Are good. Warlock's Amazing! (I also only have a few of them a year, then I'm done..generally an IPA Fella). But again, just sayin'..not tryin to start any HooHaa.

    - Cheers!!

I must say, CCB Good Gourd was worth all the hype. As was Almanac Hierloom Pumpkin Barleywine.
As for the Porters, TREAT and Hangar 24 Gourdgeous were amazing as well

Schlafly Pumpkin Ale - I've seen a few mention this, and can only guess that it's their limited distribution that's prevented more votes. It's the boldest use of spices in any beer I've tasted that actually works. You must love cloves, however, so it may alienate some drinkers. But the cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and more, are strong, but beautifully blended. Not nearly as sweet as Pumking. This is a spice beer.

Pumking is equally as good (or slightly better), but a completely different taste; thicker, sweeter, and less spicy. I have not tasted Good Gourd (don't get it here!), but I can't imagine anything better than Pumking.

Did a side-by-side with Pumking and Good Gourd... Pumking wasn't in the same ball park. Good gourd was so much creamier, had a better mouthful and had more "pie" characteristics.

I had. Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin on Saturday and it was great! Not too sweet which is my usual complaint with pumpkin beers.

It is, as of last week I believe. Unfortunately the reviews have been less than favorable. I'll reserve judgement until if/when I get the chance to try it. I'll be disappointed if it isn't very good, because they had it on tap only last year (first time brewing it), and I thought it was awesome.

St. Louis started getting their seasonal pumpkin beers in recently, and thought this would be a good time to get this conversation started.

    Top 3 favorite pumpkin beers.

Surprisingly no. 1 for me goes to:

    Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash
    ST Pumking
    Schlafly Pumpkin

Would love to expand my palate for pumpkin beers this season and try some new ones.

    Thanks,
    Dylan
