Drank Pumking for the first time tonight.
Loved it. Wife, for whom I bought if, enjoyed it as well.
Bought a Warlock today, just because it is another pumpkin variation from Southern Tier.
Will rate that one sometime soon.

Terrapin's Pumkin Pie Porter is delicious. My favorite of all time. Really compliments the porter perfectly.

Alewerks Pumpkin blows Cigar City Brewing Good Gourd out of the water. Have had both and Williamsburg Alewerks absolutely destroys Good Gourd.

If you want a beer that actually tastes like pumpkin pie, have Alewerks.

Agreed. I happen to think Alewerks blows CCB's out of the water, though. It's the only Pumpkin I've ever tried to not have any raw pumpkin taste.

Opened an Imperial Pumpkin Smash earlier and thought I'd mention that it is, by far, the best pumpkin beer I've had. I love Whole Hog but this was next-level. Going to have to pour another one now that I'm thinking about it.

We don't get some of the best pumpkin beers that everyone is mentioning here, so I'd have to say that DFH Punkin and Hangar 24 Gourdgeous are the best available to us in southern California.

Just finished my first bottle of Steven Point Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale. Wonderful! Better than Pumpking, which is now my #2. Good thing I put the whole 4-pak in the fridge 'cause I need another. And I need to run back to the beer store to buy more!

By go-to, please consider price, packaging, flavor, availability... not talking about best-of-the-best rare bombers priced at $8+

For me, it used to be Schlafly, which either hasn't been as good as of late or perhaps my palate has changed. I find it boozy, lacking finesse, and less drinkable than in past years.

Hard to beat Elysian Night Owl. It has more natural pumpkin flavor and is easy to drink without lacking complexity of flavor.

What is your go-to Pumpkin Beer?

Pumpking, O'Fallon's Pumpkin, Sam Adam's, Blue Moon Pumpkin, Shocktop's Pumpkin, Fat Head's Spooky Tooth. I feel that I could readily walk into my local grocery store and find any of these and I would be really happy. People will probably pass on the Sam's, Blue Moon, and Shocktop because they aren't considered "craft" enough by some, but I think they are all excellent.

    brb, $8+ for 22 oz.

Go-to should mean that you can buy it regularly enough to enjoy it on a regular basis without breaking bank.

Are you buying them by the case bro?

Pumking is also my go to, but I probably only drink a small handful of pumpkin beers each season, and I consume most of them on draft. Big shout out to the Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine, may have to get another one this year.
