Punkucinno from Elysian is really good, same with Heirloom Pumpkin from Almanac! Got my hands on a Rumpkin last night... We'll see how that goes!

Well it was Schlafly by a long shot but then I had Almanac Heiroom Pumpkin Barleywine. Leaves all others in the dust.

Schlafly and a close second to Weyerbacher. Had an Octoberfest/Pumpkin/Brown tasting yesterday.

    My favorites are:

    DFH Punkin
    Whole Hog Pumpkin
    Schafly Pumpkin Ale
Lakefront Imperial Brandy Barrel Aged Pumpkin

I haven't tried it yet but I fully expect Central Waters new Imperial Barrel Aged Pumpkin to be amazing.

Uinta Oaked Jacked is by far the best I've had. Not too much spice and the perfect amount of vanilla and pumpkin flavor.

I've always gone with the Dogfish pumpkin beer. Which i've yet to try this year. The only one I have consumed is The Greater Pumpkin by Heavy Seas which is most likely the best pumpkin beer ive had.

I'm a "pie-style" pumpkin beer guy. My favorites, in order:

    ST Pumking
    Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin
    Elysian Dark O' The Moon

    Drink these beers and win.

I am not a huge fan of the style, so my tasting experience here is limited... But I recently had a pumpkin ale from The Lost Abbey (Port Brewing) called Avant Gourde and it was rather tastey. It was different from any other pumpkin I have tried and it certainly hit the spot. For any SoCal BAs looking to try it, it was on draft at Draught's in Thousand Oaks.

Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash! It's a Pumpkin Imperial Stout...very nicely done. Like a cup of coffee and a slice of pumpkin pie.

    Pumpkin Porter from Alaskan Brewing--
There is a hint of the much-loved Brown Shugga in this stuff. Sweet and full of the burnt sugar taste.

    Here's a couple of my fav's:

    - Crown Valley tastes like a dark chocolate pumpkin. Very nice
    - Schlafly is hands down the best. It's also their best offering.
    - DFH is nice as well.

Pumking was on my favorite list...but not now. It was very different and a nice change from normal pumpkin beers, but it's drastically different from previous years and tastes like a nutmeg/cinnamon mess this year. It shouldn't even have the same name. Very different beer.

I've tried 36 pumpkin beers this fall already. Found my new favorite last night :Elysian Punkuccino coffee pumpkin ale. Loved the coffee in it. Their Dark o the moon was my favorite until trying this one.

This beer just vaulted into my top pumpkins, maybe even atop all the rest...

Rye and brandy barrel-aged, savory-sweet, rustic and classy at the same time...

Almanac's Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine - it's like a $12 bottle around here, and absolutely worth it...

A little biased, but my homebrewed Headless Horseman's Pumpkin Ale is my favorite pumpkin beer this year  I actually had about a dozen different pumpkin beers this year that helped me decide on my recipe for my batch...I went with more pumpkin, less spice, honey, brown sugar and vanilla beans and its been splitting heads of all that try it!
