I haven't had too many, but those 3 are the definitely the ones I liked the best. They're nice and spicy-sweet without being too ``squashy''. In 4th place I would put DFH Punkin' Ale.

Personally; I dont get why people like to drink pumpkin pie...the style does absolutely nothing for me and the fact they are being released in the summer is ridiculous. To me what works for the fall season is Celebration Ale.

Anyway, the only pumpkin beers that I have had that I thought were decent for what they are have been Pukin and Good Gourd.

Schlafly really had a great one last year, for sure.

Just had a pack of the Weyerbacher, it was pretty solid. The only other one I've had is Good Gourd, and I was extremely pleased with everything except that it's still 90 degrees outside.

Good Gourd > Pumpking > Weyerbacher IMHO
    Never had Schaflys

Good gourd is worth trading for if you've never had it. Plus it's Zhukov season so you could grab one of those while you're at it possibly. In fact PM me if you want to trade for some Gourd and Zhukov, I should have both tomorrow.

Does Good Gourd make it up to CCB distro in Philadelphia, or is it Florida only?

It's gotta be Schlafly. Pumking is a distant second.

If anyone is out in Wisconsin, Capital's Pumpanator Wrex was amazing, not sure if its going to be sold outside of their brewery this year, but if you get the opportunity try it.

I've had it and have it as number 3 or 4 on my list, which is as follows:

    1. Schlafly
    2. Pumpkinator
    3. I'll give the nod to Williamsburg over Pumking solely based on price as a tie breaker here.
    4. Pumking
    5. Weyerbacher

Williamsburg is definitely solid though. It is usually readily available to me, which is also a plus.

Went to GABF last year where I was able to taste Good Gourd (albeit it a tiny glass). It was pretty remarkable, really balanced spices, with a great pumpkin mouthful

    1. Good Gourd
    2. Williamsburg Aleworks
    3. Schlafly
    4. Pumking
    5. Great Pumpkin (Elysian)

Btw, I can't post on the F/T forum (didn't realize there was a 30 day lockout period for newbies). But if people are looking to trade top 25 pumpkin ales http://beeradvocate.com/lists/style/72 I can get my hands on Schlafly now. Aleworks, Elysian, Pumpking, Oak Jacked, Rumpkin, DFH Punkin, and others a bit later. Just lemme know
