I'm coming over for the meal, I've never had smoked turkey for TG'ing, it sounds like it is moist and delish

Agree, when I tried it, I thought it was way too much but by the second taste, it was like my brain got it what it was supposed to taste like, and I enjoyed it thoroughly, just couldn't drink the whole bomber by myself.

I know I do not have the popular choice here and it was awhile ago that I had it but I remember loving
    Fat Jack from SA

Yes my particular bottle was a hot mess of cinnamon and nutmeg I believe. I honestly had a hard time picking out individual spices as it was pretty taxing on the palate.

I honestly wanted to try both Pumking and Warlock after reading some of the more positive reviews. After having the Pumking I decided not to buy Warlock.

Next year I will probably try Pumking again and Warlock because the idea of spiced pumpkin beers intrigues me. I honestly hope I just had an off batch because I can't agree with any positive reviews after trying it myself.

Try mixing Warlock and Pumking. Heard it's pretty darn good.

For me it comes down to two beers. The first being Heavy Seas Greater Pumpkin and second Schlafly pumpkin ale . If we are talking about non-pumpkin beers, I would include The Bruery Autumn Maple at third.

I've gotten sick of most pumpkin beers but I really like Warlock for a dessert beer once in a while

Upslope Pumpkin Ale is one of the few pumpkin beers I can actually drink an entire bottle (or can in this instance) of...it's pretty tasty actually.

I really want to like pumpkin beers but have been disappointed for the most part (Weyerbacher and Schlafly are better than most, imo). However, Heavy Seas bourbon barrel aged Great'er Pumpkin is delicious. Hands down my favorite pumpkin beer!

I remember having Pumking back in 07 and I still love it today. I have a 13' bottle yet to try. The past few years I always get Schlafly pumpkin ale, love it. New for me to try this year was Punkuccino and AleWerks Pumpkin I must say they rock. AleWerks should do a barrel age!

I really enjoyed Big Muddy Pumpkin Smasher. I tried it for the first time last week via build your own 6er at Binny's. This one impressed me having tried a few in the past (Pumpking being one.)

To elaborate. It actually tastes like a beer. Not crazy over-spiced. Also, it seems some people have to try every pumpkin beer and nothing wrong with that but it's rare that I like one so much I buy it again. Hope that clarifies that.

Pumpking was alright when it first came out but lately it just seems to have a candy corn taste to it. I'm originally from FL and have had Good Gourd on numerous occasions while visiting family. However, living in NW Washington for the last few years, I have to say that no one does pumpkin beers like Elysian. From The Great Pumpkin, to pumpkin stouts to gingerbread pumpkin pilsners, they are the most creative and most skilled in the ways of pumpkin beers than anyone else IMO.

I don't favor pumpkin beers but there are a few that i like

Almanac Dark Pumpkin Sour is killer but super sour but I'm into that
Heavy Seas The Greater Pumpkin is nice and barrel aged
    He Said by 21st amendment

Just had Troegs master of pumpkins and I thought it was gross and way too clove-y

I like pumpkin beers that still taste like beer and have integrated the pumpkin flavor well

Pumking to me still rules, but I loved Hoppin Frog pumpkin when I tried it this year. DFH to me is good, not great.

    Pumking 91 BA
    Pumking 81 Bros

This says it all....an average beer that has been hyped up. It is my least favorite pumpkin beer.
