I think your inexperience has caused you to word things incorrectly in this thread, hence some confusion. You're on your way to a beer that may or may not be any good, but when you (or anyone) experiment with the brewing process you have to accept the result and learn from it. I suggest that you wait for this beer to finish before you consider doing another one so that you can learn from the result, good or bad. Let us know how it ends up.

got my beer kegged and its pouring nice. a few things
1 thank you so much to everyone that helped me!

2 good recipe and kit. all in all, i will opt out of SO MUCH real pumpkin next time, as it left a TON of sediment. prob from 64oz down to 16 or 32. ( i couldnt even siphon the bottom of the ferment tank out due to the pumpkin.)
I let it ferment for 2 weeks and kegged it up. upon kegging i dumped about 1oz of vanilla extact in it.

all in all, good beer and would def brew again. the abv says 6%, but i feel my friend messed up the OG and its off, because it tastes much stronger than a 6%'er

3 because i am so classy, i will not badmouth anyone who spoke ill of me and my process in this thread

    THANKS AGAIN!
