Any of Elysian pumpkin beers. They really have those figured out.

Not a stout (kinda close to one), but Redhook's Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter was a lot better than I expected it to be.

That is for me what Pumpkinhead is for all my non-craft drinking friends. I go through at least 2-3 12 packs of that Porter every fall. I can consistently get it for about $12 a 12-pack and for a solid B+ beer in my book its very enjoyable.

By far the best pumpkin beer I've ever had. Punkaccino was a letdown. All cinnamon and no coffee. Pumpkinator is only good when aged at least a year, and Warlock seemed like it was the exact same recipe as Pumking only with roasted barley substituted.

If I am not mistaken this was the first one on the market commercially. Is anyone aware of earlier examples though (pumpkin stout or pumpkin porter?).

Incidentally, this is one of the easiest beers in the world to blend yourself, just buy an example of each and mix to your liking. In fact, I'd think many commercial releases are just that (a mix of the brewery's own pumpkin ale and stout or porter).
