Pumpkinator

Schlafly stands apart from the rest IMO. Less spice, more fresh pumpkin flavor. I am hoping to maybe see one as an extra this year...I am not going about trying to spend a ton trading for pumpkin beers.

BTW, Pumpkin brews have been thrown onto the styles for next month's(OCT) stylized tasting in Houston.

 

I hope Pumking is good. I just got one. I'll test it when the weather cools a bit.

 

I was shooting for an all pumpkin style tasting, but I understand that it is not everyone's favorite and why they decided to make it more broad. I'll be there with some pumpkin beers though!

 

It's a fantastic beer! One of my favorites of all time

 

Lets shun them from the Pumpkin table!

Sooo tasty. A lot of people were saying that DR9 was thicker, but I thought they were identical. I didn't have them side by side though.

 

This tasting is the one at Gingerman right? I'm trying to get a growler of Schaflin for this tasting.

There will be the regular anything goes tasting at Gman on the 14th as well.

 

Ohhh... Well depending on time ill try to make it out but I usually have practice on Sundays, and I thought G-man was the first week of the mont.

 

Austin is the first week, we have to be different, so we decided on the second week

 

Last year we worked hard to get what we could, even found some after the fact. id be happy just to match last years haul. not going overboard.

 

Man.. I must get some of this.. this year... I'll be hitting up the same HEB I got the DR from.... I don't think the rush is going to be as crazy for this..hopefully.... though I will be getting it the day it comes out.
