Is southern tier now distributed out this way? Haven't seen any of their stuff yet

Oddly enough, I saw two of their beers at Wally's the other day. I didn't think they dealt with the grey market, and I haven't heard of Southern Tier distributing here.

Though if you don't mind getting a little reamed on the price, Ramirez has it sitting on the shelf for around $13 or so. But it's no news that they dabble in the questionable distribution practices.

If anyone is down to go in on an order I'd be down, wouldn't mind having 2-3 bottles to share with family come Thanksgiving. I'm in LA, if anyone is down just shoot me a BM, cheers!

Just a side note, I don't know if it was my bottle or my palate was wrecked from Sourfest but I recently had a fresh 2013 Pumking that had a very strange medicinal after taste. would love to hear others thoughts on this year's batch.

That sounds like an beer themed adult film.

Confirming what Earlycsquid posted! I was at Wally's Wine this Saturday and I picked up a bottle of Oat and a bottle of Unearthly. When I went up to pay for the beers, I said to the cashier, "So Southern Tier distributes to CA now?" and she was like, "Yeah, they do". She definitely didn't sound confident in her answer so we'll see if anything else comes in.

I haven't heard anything about ST legally distributing here. If you don't mind me asking, how much were the bottles?

Not to go more off topic, but I recently saw some Cascade Blueberry on the shelf at Wally's. I think the price was inflated to $36/bottle ($20 online from the Cascade website, not including shipping)

Unearthly was ~$15.99 and Oat was ~$18.99.

As if Wally's prices weren't higher than the average already. Ha! I didn't notice any price tags anywhere near the bottles either.

Come on, Stephanie. why you sinking to those levels?

I agree with the high prices but I have found tons of beers there I haven't seen anywhere else in the area.
