I'll buy whatever form it takes for me to get the beer I want... I generally steer clear of the mixed sixes as I can't find 6 beers I really want to try at any local shops and I like having a couple extras to share with friends.

Mainly straight sixers, with the occasional build your own and a bomber or two thrown in for good measure.

I love mixed six packs. Gives me a chance to try something new AND pick up some old familiars at the same time. If I don't like the new stuff, I always have my reliable fall backs XD

But seriously, I try to get something different every time I go out for beer.

Mixed six packs, but usually two of each. I do get a six or four pack of the "staples". A bomber or two creeps in there depending on what it is and what I want.

I like the variety of a mixed six, but sometimes one isn't enough to give a new beer a fair evaluation (not meaning a review, just understanding whether I like something or not).

mixed 6ers is my most preferred. Variety 12 packs my 2nd favorite which wasn't an option. I like variety and will go with the 12 pack variety to save a few dollars every so often. Avg price I pay for a mixed 6er is $16. Average price for the variety 12 packs is about the same.

Most of my beers come home in a twelve pack. These are my everyday beers, of which I have approximately one a day. The rest of my spending is somewhat evenly distributed between growlers (Tree House, Trillium, and Jack's Abby), and all your other options. 80/20 rule though. 80% of my beers accounts for only 20% of my spending. I like to drink something nice on the weekends.

50% in bars, 30% on singles (regardless of bottle size), 15% on full 4/6 packs, 5% growlers. I've only ever bought a case once.

Mixed Sixers to drink things I've been meaning to try followed by 4/6 packs of 'tried and trues', followed by 16.9oz/22oz/750ml bottles. I only ever buy cases of 'hard to obtain' beers or reduced price offerings (got a case of Nosferatu the other day for $25 - couldn't pass that up)

I buy in all those formats. Just slightly more 4 and 6 pks than the rest.

How are my buying habits? Bad and expensive. I only buy certain cases. The last cases were Hop JuJu, Sweet Baby Jesus, and Alpha King. The rest is all 4 or 6 packs. I have a beer buying addiction!

I checked bombers but if I could I would've also checked 4/6pk...all depends on what format it comes in. I rarely buy cases. Growlers are typically from brewery visits which I don't get to do too often.

4/6 packs, and bombers and 750s, mostly. I try a lot of beer for the first time in a bomber, and I love Belgians, so that skews me toward more single, large-format purchases.

Obviously, pub purchases when I'm out.

I would do more mix-six, but not many stores around here offer that option. I love the chance to try a single bottle of a beer that's new to me, without spending the money on a bomber, or committing to an entire 6 pack on the chance that I don't like it.

Since my drinking habits have slowed way down, I have been mixing sixers and/or buying bombers. I used to prefer six packs and still go for those if it's something I haven't had from a brewery I like.

I was all about the mix sixers when I first started getting into craft. since then I have started buying a lot more 4 and 6 packs of beers I know I like, and once in a while some singles of stuff I would like to try.

the store I frequent most dosnt break up their 4 and 6 packs into a singles wall (unfortunately) so I end up buying multiples of beers I havnt tried before. Thankfully I havnt run into to many duds that I couldn't use as at least something to give to friends who don't care what they drink when they come over.

Bombers were in my fridge much more often when I first started. then I realized how unbelievably overpriced they were when I saw a 12oz bottle of Scaldis Noel for 4.69 right beside a 750ml of the same exact beer for $19.69. the math didn't work in my head, and I have a tough time stomaching those prices now. Only buy the big boys when it is something that I have either really wanted to try, or have had and realized it is just that damn good!

Mostly bombers and 750s for me. Yes, I know, these large-format bottles are more expensive per ounce. But you know what's even more expensive? Buying six bottles/cans of a beer I don't really enjoy and then having to drink/store/give away five of them. I would guess that 90% of the beers I buy are ones I've never had before.
