I think most of them have been mellow enough that you can show up an hour after they open and get cans with no line, but there are definitely still some yahoos who think they have to line up at 8am and wait 3 hours.

Maybe people caught on that their IPAs aren't good enough to warrant lining up in 2018 when online sales are a thing. Other than the ones who didn't get the memo and still get out there bright and early.

Just make sure you refer to them with the appropriate condensed version, "PuPr" :poop:

You can drop in at 11-11:30 and be safe. I've been doing that with the last few releases. There was a maybe 5-person line today, but got my cans with 10 minutes of waiting

Just left with two four packs of each. They still had plenty available. Guess the beers weren't hyped up enough or I guess a collab with pizza port isn't enticing enough. Will try these tomorrow and report back.

Wasn't a fan of the triple last year, but curious about the other, so yeah, please report back.

Resurrecting the dead here. Just been gifted a Murk of the Beast.

Really poor. Flat, no aroma, tastes of sweet butter and a burnt match stick.

Couldnt reconcile the reviews next to what I'm trying to drink here.

Was that can from the recent release of that beer? Like...the one 2 days ago?

Looks like both it and a can of Murkeley I have are both canned on 7/3/18.

OK, makes sense they wouldn't can the morning of the release. I think members got to pickup on thursday and the public release was on saturday.

Kinda upsetting that your can couldn't even make it a week.

I don't have a greatly refined palate, but it just tastes of buttery diacetyl. Very disappointing.

Is this unusual or par for the course?

I am personally not a fan, so take my review with a grain of salt.

Aside from their triples, the other offerings have been basically misses. I can't say I have had one that tasted of diacetyl but I also haven't really had one that was memorable or even good. Just...meh.

Now, all of that said, I do think they make a pretty solid Kolsch, but I would rather go next door to Amplified for a beer when I find myself in that area. I can only take so much Axe body spray, 3 buttons undone bros, along with the floozies that are "omg, so wasted" after a couple sips.

The first few cans of of Murk of the Beast I opened over the weekend were good, but the two I opened tonight were bad. I drank the first one and poured the second one down the drain. They both poured with decent head but were essentially flat half a minute later with no hop aroma and a slick mouthfeel. It's Monday so I moved on to vodka (neat) without much thought beyond dark disappointment.

Ouch that's not good to hear. I have been really enjoying their recent Triple IPA though, Gatsby. Sounds like issues with canning.

Yeah that was pretty much my take on it. Flat, no aroma, sweet butter taste. Something is surely not right

Can we Pure Project bottle release hype here as well?!

Has anyone tried the preview pours (starting today) of the Maplesaurus bottles that go on sale tomorrow?
