I looked around on here but didn't see anything. Anyone have anything to say on these guys? I see a few 'hads', no reviews yet. Doesn't look like anything is bottled yet. Just cruisin around their IG. Just curious.

I went last week, my friend's friend who "loves IPAs" told us we had to go. So we went.

The beer wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. Their Grass Fed Ipa was a bit thin and watery, Badlands was an okay rye Pale ale, but didn't show much other than the rye. La Vie en rose was a bit too honeyed and sweet for me, their double IPA with agave was way too sweet, Milagro was decent, but it's a low ABV stout so was missing some body. Evangeline was your typical salty feet smelling gose. Nothing was offensive, i just wouldn't go out of my way for the beers.

The space is small but it's kinda cool. They have free snacks which ppl seem to like. Something about Mario Cart mondays as well.

I personally liked Duck Foot better. Highlight of that area for me was Division 23. Pure Project was fine. Seemed popular but I thought it was just ok.

I actually really enjoy their beers and the Costa Rican ambiance is great. Looking forward to their barrel aged offerings soon. There is a new Amplified Ale works location opening literally next door too.

I'm hearing a lot of mixed reviews of Pure which is always interesting. One of those I'm just going to have to try it myself breweries.

Do it, and go on mondays then prepared to get your ass handed to you in Mario Kart. =P

It would have to be on the weekend. I don't go anywhere during the week these days.

Went to Saint Archer, Duckfoot and Bolt Brewing (was meeting a group in La Mesa) today and Duckfoot was the worst by far for me. Really had not plan though. Had heard of Pure Project before, not Division 23.

I've never been to Bolt. Duckfoot to me was better than Pure but not great. Had a few samples & didn't go full size on anything.

Opened up my first bottle of Tenmile BBA Imperial Porter. It wasn't mind-blowing, but I thought it was a really solid first effort from Pure.

Did anyone try that new release, Roes Red?

Visited this past weekend after making an Alesmith pickup and was thoroughly impressed. All the beers I tried were good to great, with the Delphyne dragonfruit berliner and Man Beer Pig IPA with Nelson + Citra. Was told they fill all growlers there - branded, blank, taped over. They have pricing for 32ox and 64oz fills but I'm not sure if they would fill other sizes. Both Pure Project and Amplified next door both seemed to allow dogs.

Missed the release of the Roes Red sour by a couple of days. I think they did an online lottery to allocated the bottles, with any extra to be sold out of the tasting room

Also, I must say that Pure had the most pleasant brewery bathroom I have ever seen. Incense candle burning and fancy stones in the sink. That's some spa shit right there.

Picked up the spoils of my lottery win yesterday, and I really liked the tasting room. No time to sit and really sample, but thought the place was really cool overall.

Haven't been on a monday in a while but they use to have Mario Kart on the tv every monday. Bunch of "grown" men drinking beer and playing mario kart is quite the sight to see. Good times.

Anybody else get any of their newer releases? I thought that the blueberry Euphoric was very good for their first bottled fruited sour. I noticed that both of yesterdays were still available late in the evening.

    Thoughts on this presale?

We pulled all of our remaining bottles of GABF Medal Winning Roes Red & Tenmile w/ Coffee out of the cellar and created a 2-Pack for you. This will be the last time you can buy either of these 2016 beers, so take advantage and pick up some easy Holiday gifts now. The sale just went live and the supply is limited.
