I was expecting this go to one more round, but you got it. Here are the hints that would have (in my mind) made it painfully obvious:
Hint: My wife drank most of the beers from the European brewery.
Hint: The American brewery is more widely known for its offerings inbottles without corks and cans.

I went through a period where I was opening a couple of bottles of either Local #1 or Sorachi Ace a week. The sour version of Local #1 (not for sale) is one of the best beers I've ever had.

Two people landed on the correct combination of breweries: Brooklyn & Lindemans each had 8 corks in the vase

There were a total of 34 corks in the vase. So applying the original rules:
The winner is doogie71628. A bunch of you came very, very close. Cheers doogie71628, check your BMs.

I've got a great idea for another LIF, but it's dependent on me dragging the wife to a brewery a couple of hours drive away. Hopefully you'll see it from me in the next week or two. I need to keep paying the awesome generosity of my fellow BAs forward. This really is a great community.

Sweet! Thanks so much Aaron! While excited for the lebleu, I am very excited to start my own LIF soon! I'll get that going some time over the weekend.
