Looking to land a bottle of this for a tasting. I know these were low bottle counts and trade for rare bottles. I just want to know were to start an offer as I don't want to low ball anyone. Would any of the following beers spark any interest. Veritas 006 or 010 Cable car DDG Izzy Beat 3 Others along this line
I would think at least Veritas, Cable Car and Izzy would be close. Not sure of exact trade value of batches of Beat. I doubt DDG. For reference I traded my Brandy DL (less demand than PVW) for DDG+
You're in the ballpark. Your problem is going to be that almost all of the remaining PvW bottles (and Brandy Vanilla for that matter) at this time are not for trade. If you have the time, it may be worth waiting to see what happens at DLD'12. If they did the same thing again and kept PvW, there will be a good amount for trade. Look what happened when Bruery quadrupled their bottle release of Chocolate Rain this year.
