Nope, nothing else printed on the bottle or label. I looked top to bottom. It's a Snow Cap seasonal...(mistaryte) really hope they're not selling beer made at the start of the year and still on the shelf for sale in October 2016!
Seeing it's a seasonal available from Oct thru January, my (wild-ass) guess is J216 is September 21st 2016. I'm thinking that the first letter corresponds to month (A = January, B = February, etc). Yes, J is the tenth letter & not the ninth letter in the sequence. However, I believe some who use this type of date coding do skip the letter I in the sequence to avoid confusion with the number 1. So in this instance J would be September. I think it's a reasonable guess anyway.
