Don't play any games, for the best experience in terms of availability St Bernardus Abt 12 and Rochefort 10 can't be beaten. I've never had Westveleteren 12, but good luck getting your hands on any of that.

Kasteel Cuvee Du Chateau besides the big three already mentioned.

SN's Ovila Quad is also rather enjoyable, and it definitely doesn't break the bank for a quad. Not as good, but definitely cheaper than Roq 10 or Abt 12. I like the way the bottles look in my cellar, too

I'm pretty sure it was a one off but if you can get your hands on Sierra Nevada Ovila Quad, buy that shit. I thought it was amazing, plus that's hands down my favorite artwork a bottle has to offer.

I don't know how no one has mentioned Unibroue La Terrible yet. I'd put it up there with Abt. 12 & Rochefort 10 to make my Top 3 favorite Quads. Rochefort though is an entirely different beer when compared to the other two though, as it is a little lighter on the body but that's probably due to the amount of carbonation.

I've seen this on the West Coast and its worthy of the cost.

Westy is the best, but getting it is too difficult and expensive. Abt 12 is my personal everyday favorite, but trade out a Rochefort 12 every now and then as well. Honestly I don't really bother with American Quads very often. BBQ is good but sweet as is Stickee Monkee.
