Why do Quads have better head retention than every other style of beer? After drinking several hundred different beers of varying styles, this has been a pretty consistent finding for me across the board. Anyone know the answer to this? The specific yeast strands used maybe?
Probably has to do with the malt that's used in them. Certain malts like carapils are exclusively used for head retention. Not sure if quads use that exact one but could be something like that.
because they're awesome? i don't know why, but the weather's getting cold, and my fridge is full of quads ready to test this one out
