My taste activation pint glass (that was etched on the bottom) just broke. I actually stole it from a bar so not too bad. Any suggestions for a new glass?

The Libbey glass store in Tole do Ohio. At the same place they hold the farmers market..
They sell any and every type of beer glass. From from taster size with tray. To huge (32-64 Oz beer mugs. As well as more specialized glassware for pilsners, to growers and everything in between.
    Check it out...

I went to my local Goodwill and found 15 mini snifters! Bought them all at .99 each!

Those all sound like very expensive alternatives to stealing.

Stealing, one might think of it more as permanently borrowing. In the UK there is no need to steal glasses from a bar/pub. The breweries normally give them away with the beer they supply. Most bars are happy for customers, especially regular customers, to take a souvenir glass - if they politely ask for it, or they may suggest a small donation into a charity box. The trick is to obtain your sample glass while it is still in pristine condition and before it begins to show signs of wear.

Return to the scene of the crime and
    1. steal another one or...
    2. politely ask the bartender if you could take a sample glass with you. If the answer is 'no' then revert to option 1.

I have a Libbey glass ($3 at Bevmo, woohoo!) and while the shape is great, the glass quality is pretty bad. I'd pay a ridiculous amount (I dunno, up to $40?!) for a super high quality glass with the same exact shape. Any tips?

(Whiskey snifters might be a good area to explore but they don't have the tulip-type lip which I like. They're also not usually meant to hold 12oz.)
