Are there any good pumpkin ales brewed/distributed in Quebec? The only one I've ever seen bottled is the McAuslan one. I've had a craving for some pumpkin ale lately so I'm anticipating the Fall and the seasonal beers which inevitably come along with it. Anyone have any suggestions for things to try?

The only bottled one other than McAuslan is Magouille from Brasseurs Illimites which was pretty good. Not sure if it'll re-appear. Brasseurs & Freres (now Dunham) used to have one also.

Another vote for Magouille. I only had one bottle last year (sold pretty well, apparently) and I thought it was really tasty!

Damn, ok, now to find some bottles of this Magouille...

Brasseurs du Temps also have the Scie Trouillarde double.

I'm a bit gunshy in regards to that brewery at the moment... I bought a DumDuminator a while back and it was just awful. Not only that, but it was expensive. If you recommend it though, I'll definitely grab a bottle and give it a try should I spot one.

I was just about to mention that beer. Very delicious pumpkin beer and I'd recommend it ricochet

I saw a bottle of McAuslan pumpkin ale at the store and, thinking of this thread, figured I might as well try it out.

Thinking it's nothing special, was expecting something with a bigger cinnamon/ginger kick.

Hopefully I can find that Magouille or Scie Trouillarde to redeem pumpkin ales for me ;-)

Saw a banner at the beer fest in Chambly about La Magouille so i assume it's on its way.

On a semi-related note, had a pumpkin latte from Starbucks and gave me a craving for a creamy pumpkin ale :sunglasses:

Finally got my hands on some St. Ambroise Citrouille! Drinking it right now as a matter of fact... wow, very drinkable! Not the most "knock-your-socks-off" pumpkin beer, but it is very well-balanced and I feel like I could down a four-pack in one sitting easily... better go buy more lol
