As a huge Queen fan, I am very excited for this beer. However, are they going all Reinheitsgebot on the press release? Only three ingredients: water, malt, and hops? I anxiously await the Queen/beer puns that will inevitably appear in the forum.

When I read Queen, I thought you meant the old bitty who is on my money. She already has a beer

Then I read...good on the lads. Hope it's better than Iron Maiden's beer.

I love the packaging, just wish it wasn't green bottles. Oh well, still an instant buy.

The beer may be good, but the marketing is possibly the best I've ever seen.

I went to the link that Todd provided and a case of this beer is £36.00 ($56.69).

I suspect that it will be priced even higher at my local beer stores.

This beer will be a ‘pass’ for me; too expensive!!

Hm. I'm kind of disappointed that this is a Pilsner. With all its multilayered harmonies and big ballads, you would think Queen would want to make a bigger, more multilayered beer.

You'd think they'd go for an adjunct brew.

Hmmm... given the subject, I think "Treacle" would be very appropriate.

I hope it's better than the trooper.

It would be cool to buy a single for on the mantle for looking at but at that price I will pass and go for the Urquell for drinking purposes.:sunglasses:
