Question about BDCS releases

The release was March 21st of last year.

I keep picking for a date when I'm in there and all I've heard is possibly February.

 

I emailed the brewery a couple months ago and they said late Feb/early March. More recently I have heard mid February. I will be up there the weekend of the 20th so hopefully it releases that weekend lol

 

Last I heard was Feb 27 or March 5 (both are Saturdays). They're releasing more than what they did last year but my guess is the demand will be greater as well.

 

February 27th. I was at the brewery Sunday and this is the (mostly) official release date as of now. Try their Smoked Porter in the meantime if you haven't.

Heard it's no good...no reason to even show up...

 

Release Party Friday night the 26th, on sale to the public on Saturday the 27th.

 

Probably like a lot of people outside of the area I had never heard of this brewery and there wasn't much trade action for this beer for awhile that I saw. The GF and I are considering a road trip because she has some use or lose Hyatt points. Last fall she went to Lost Forty and really enjoyed that place. I'm hoping there isn't going to be a crazy ass line and we can show up roughly around the opening and get whatever the allotment is.

 

There is no limit but I really am not sure what to expect as far as the crowd. Had a store owner tell me they've already had some call about camping out the night before...which is just dumb.

Anyway, I'm getting there an hour before the release at 1pm and hoping for the best. No way in hell am I standing in line for hours.

Just got my ticket to the Release Party. Figured it would be a whole lot easier than standing in line on Saturday. Just had to convince the GF to take that day off.

 

Good for you. I'll be there with my brother. Should be a good time and I hope I'll get to try '15 which I missed out on last year.

 

Just got an email from Ozark saying they are limiting one case per person for each day...

 

Yeah, just got the same. Sort of throws a wrench in my buddies' take, but they're just going to have to show up on Saturday now.

 

I bet, specially for people driving so far for it. It'll still be a great time at the release party!

 

In all honesty, I can't drive out to this but want it! Anyone on here that is going to get it want to trade?!
