    BDCS Un Año was excellent.

Un Ano was definitely great! I've heard late March, early April on the next batch.

Anyone planning on going to the BDCS release in May? This will be my first time attending. I'm guessing there will be a line for the public release so does anyone know if they allow drinking/small bottle shares while waiting in line or is that prohibited?

I got there 40 mins before opening last year and was probably 75 or so in line. It moved fast. Not sure how much of a share was going on (certainly not like the epic shares at Prairie's release... I'm still recovering from last weekend). I'm sure others here would know more about sharing...

I don't recall any sharing going on but it may have happened. I had been hitting up breweries all the way there so I wasn't looking to drink anymore before getting in.

Where there still 4 packs left when you got in?

Technically it's "prohibited" but I'm not sure how they'll deal with that. Our crew will absolutely be bottle sharing in line.

Oh yeah, plenty. They are cutting the allocation in half this year in anticipation of a larger turnout but I imagine they'll go a while through Saturday.

Shares in solo/styro cups. Loud, intoxicated people will be removed. Pretty great share in line last year, however, myself and 2 other guys only ones who brought anything, so...I think more will be participating this year. The line moves quick, there is a lot canned and allocation is halved, so maybe some won't come to share tho. In any case, I'll be there. Private & public release

No way I'm driving all the way up there for some spoiled grain water that's been sitting in a used barrel for months.

    Also, no ticket.

We're going about 20 deep and we'll have bottles in line.

I'm looking forward to this release. I'll bring a couple things to share in line on Saturday. Cheers!

Anyone have any idea what the earliest is you can expect to show up without waiting in too much of a line to buy your allotment?

Man, it's tough to say. I would imagine with the increased production/lowered pp limits it'll last. It's probably going to be a madhouse from 9am - noon then calm down if I had to guess. Being local, I'm tempted just to show up at noon - 2pm and see what's going on and avoid the madness. Then again, our entire crew will be there early sharing beers so I might as well join.
