I received a bottle of Cantillon Grand Cru Bruocsella in the mail just now. The bottle itself isnt very hot but the box is. I can see Definite carbonation in the bottle. Is this bad? From my understanding Cantillon is bottled uncarbonated. Maybe im wrong, and please correct me if I am. Thanks for the time. Cheers!

Bruoscella isn't carbonated (to my knowledge the only one from Cantillon that is intentionally flat). How can you see carbonation without opening it?

Well, beer that is sitting still for a while has a flat top, when shook or moved it foams up at the top of the bottle. That is co2 escaping because the agitation caused a slight rise in heat. When it is cooled the co2 is re absorbed and all is fine in the world. If the beer isnt carbonated it shouldnt have foamed up quite so much regarless of how much it was shaken, correct? Not being smart or anything im just looking for some education. Thanks for any input

It may have some natural carbonation left when bottled.

^ thats what I was thinking. It was bottled in January this year so its pretty fresh. Was just asking because Ive recently read about problems with carbonated cantillon
