All of mine (gifts and swag from the local distro who used to handle Guinness back in the 90s & 00s) are 20 ouncers.
Same here, until I started seeing the Gravity pint. Next time I'm in the pub where I remember getting one I'll have to check again.

I just pulled mine out, and yes--there is a seam on each side.

Does it feel thin? Like you need to be very careful with it?

@AlcahueteJ -- does yours have the seams?

Aside from the volume, the seams turned me off too, just felt cheaper than my other Guinness imperials.

@steveh mine looks exactly like the one’s in post #5 (quoted in this post). And I’d describe them as @Redrover describes in the quoted post above as well.

Definitely sounds like yours are something different. Let me see if I can get a picture of mine from my phone with it filled.

Definietly don't make a habit of putting them in the dishwasher. You might get away with it a couple times here and there, but over time it's like they said - the logo will wash off, it may end up with white etching, etc.

Not sure if this is a full pour, but it probably is just based on how I typically pour a Guinness.

Since it’s 20.4 ounces to the top and that’s a 14.9 oz can, that looks about right.

Personally, I wouldn't put any beer glasses in the dishwasher.
I just wash with hot water & a silicone sponge & let dry on rack.
Dishwashers can leave soap/rinse aid residue which will greatly affect head retention.
Plus, the harsh soap will fade all logos eventually.

Yeah, mine wouldn't hold a full can in one pour like that, you had to wait for the foam to settle and dribble the rest of the can a little at a time.

Get what you pay for, I guess.

Ha, it's a good thing you didn't send them to me!

Yeah that glass is pretty sturdy too. Sturdier than the older style Guinness tulips.

That being said, I like my Sam Smith's tulips due to the huge nucleation point at the bottom. Creates/maintains a great head on stouts.

Sorry to get your hopes up, it was only one.
Not the one I had, it felt thin like crystal (mentioned previously I felt like I had to baby it).

So many different types of glassware are out there that I’d just never risk it and I’d hand wash. I already hand wash all my glasses because it gets it super clean and dry with no residue on the inside that dishwashers can occasionally leave behind… Usually results in a vastly nicer pour and head.

A lot of stuff can be cheap thin cast glass, I’ve had a few that were actually hand blown and mould made rather than cast and it’s usually worth it to take care of them. And the cheap stuff breaks easily, I’ve had it break under high heat. Regardless that kind of heat easily washes away logos so I’d hand wash it for sure.
