Not sure if this would be the right section. I have twice recently recieved 2011 KBS in a trade, or at least it was thought to be from 2011. However, each time the bottles have read "02 10" imprinted on the bottom sides of the bottle. Did Founders ever print "02 11" on the bottom sides of bottles?

Those are from '11 release. There was no bottle dating at that time (as far as I know or mine have just rubbed off). I assume you are talking about the "02 10" molded into the bottom of the bottle. I think this is a bottle production code date - which has nothing to do with the date it was filled. The '11s I have all have that bottle production code. Just had one yesterday and it was very good. The coffee has faded a bit (but not in a stale coffee way) and the sweetness and bourbon is up a bit from my last bottle. I like more bourbon flavor so I think the '11 is drinking fine right now.

Yes that is what i'm talking about. I actually just took a flashlight to my "02 10" bottles to look for the printed bottle date and I found it, and it was indeed bottled in 2011. I guess you cannot use the molded date on the bottom sides of the bottle as the bottling date. Thanks for your input.
