I got a Prairie Bomb in a resent trade and the bottle has no wax on it. I have noticed most others do have wax. Just curious if anyone knows why the bottle wouldn't have wax. I can't find a date or anything on the bottle so just looking for some help.
yea Arkansas laws are weird.. I think the current law reads that beers less than 16.9 ounces cannot be sold as singles. Sixteen-ounce beers must be sold in pairs and anything less than 15.2 ounces must be sold in groups of at least three.
Not sure on the wax thing, it's not available where I live, or I simply haven't found it. How is it? Does it live to it's name? Comparable to what others? I'm curious.
It's really well done. Every ingredient is so balanced that no one flavor takes over. Is it the best stout ever?? no but it is dang good... Worth trading for if you cant find or get where you live.. Its also better fresh IMO... Dont age it
Thanks for the info! Have not tried it yet, it was actually part of a trade. I got a Huna and 6 pack of Jai Alai also.
Bomb! prices vary pretty widely by location. I think some Oklahoma guys get it in the $6 or 7 range, but it goes at or close to $10 a bottle here in TX
