Does anyone know if the distribution is different for this SN beer? I live in Washington state and have never seen it at a bottle shop or the grocery store. I have been able to find every other Sierra Nevada beer easily. Anyone know why?

If I can get it in MT, you're just not looking hard enough.

That's strange... I am in New York, 3,000 miles away and the stuff is everywhere. Is it a market thing? Do other similar beers sell well in your area? Are there many hefeweizens, dunkels, wit biers, etc. in your area?

Sounds like the distributor isn't bringing it in. It's a year round staple for SN, and it's a really good beer.

I would guess the distributor is choosing not to carry it.

I have a pretty hard time finding it at grocery stores here in Portland. Bottle shops are even hit or miss for that matter. The better ones always have it though. It's really excellent and worth tracking down. Try their beer finder to see if it's stocked near you. http://www.sierranevada.com/beer-locator?Zip=

That would be funny to have to trade for it, but IMO it is worth it (at least as far as hefe's go)

It's everywhere from Olympia to Seattle. Qfc's carry it, other stores too. Just call around

Pretty standard to find cases of it, but 6ers are little less common, but seen.

My local bottle shop has had a lot of stuff from Founders including KBS and Bolt Cutter, but I've never seen Founders Porter on the shelf.

That's too bad. It's the best American Hefe I've ever had.

Just grab some Weinstephaner Hefe, they should be readily available. SN can't touch it.

Thanks for that. It looks like its pretty tough to find outside of Seattle or Tacoma but now I know a few places I could check out without much trouble. It's the only Sierra Nevada beer I've never had so I'm excited to try it.

I picked some up a few weeks ago after not seeing it in my area for two years. Same thing happened with Stone Levitation. I didn't buy it when I really started getting into craft and then it was gone for a couple of years.

You've had 106 SN beers and haven't managed to find Kellerweis? I find this hard to believe, on at least a couple of levels. Do you live near a Fred Meyer?
