A buddy and I are visiting Wisconsin this weekend. We're definitely visiting New Glarus, but wondering what the consensus opinion is about the CW taproom. I couldn't find a list anywhere of what beers they're pouring. I love the barrel-aged stuff, but don't know if they would have any of them on tap.

Any other breweries or bars that are a must? We'll be in Madison one night and Milwaukee one night.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations/advice.

They typically have a barrel-aged option or two on at the tap room along with the standards and sometimes a one-off. What day are you planning to be in Madison? It's craft beer week and there is a Central Waters (and O'so) event at Dexter's pub on Friday.

It's a Saturday-Monday trip so we'll miss the Friday events. I did see that there is a Central Waters - Summit event on Saturday, which we might be able to work in.

Check out the Oso taproom man, they always have BB aged and wild stuff on tap there. 40 taps to choose from and they are open more then CW taproom is.
