I bought an all grain brown ale recipe kit, caribou slobber, but didn't buy yeast. I have a pack each of lallemand new England Ale yeast and verdant yeast but their description says for ipa. You guys think either one of those would be ok or should I get something different? Thanks.

Those strains would be ok. But if you could pick up WLP002 or Wyeast 1968, those strains are great for a Moose Drool-like beer.

Piggybacking off VikeMan's recommendation for the WLP002 (White Labs English Ale), you could also consider White Labs WLP013 (London Fog). It has a slightly higher attenuation of ~75% vs the English Ale of 63% - 70%. So the London Fog will give you a little bit higher ABV and a drier finish, if that's what you're going for.
