    You are right, I guess just since it's north of me (City Heights) it seems like North County. After going to the NKOTB2 small fest last night, there are a lot of great beers in Vista that I need to visit.

    Go hit Rip Current! Lots of new stuff opening up along the 8 corridor now as well. A beery explosion...in my pants.

    Thanks for the tip. I had one of their hefs last night and it was incredible. The only local heft that rivals it IMO is Lightning.

    It really is amazing! Glad Rip Current is now around to keep them on their toes. I wonder if Rip Current does a decoction mash like Lightning.

    Modern Times is making a wheat beer now as well, but it's not really a hef. It's hopped up, citrusy, clean, refreshing. (it's called Fortunate Islands)
