Question for the traders out there

Honestly, I'd out the guy. I don't know why so many people want to wait weeks or months to finally out someone that is not communicating. And don't convince yourself that they're busy and you're expecting too much. Like you said, if they can start new threads, they can update you on the status of the trade.

 

if he's not responding to you and actively starting new trades (for big beers at that) then it's definitely better to out him sooner than later.

 

Copypasta your questions you are sending via BM into all of his trade threads.

 

I generally wouldn't freak out over 6 days. However, posting other FTs without responding to you is a very bad sign.

I would immediately post your BM questions to him here so we can verify they're something he should be responding to. Then, this might be worthy of a quick outing if he has other trades going on.

Feel free to BM me if you'd like help but want to keep things more private for now.

ignoring the re-trading aspect it's still strange. if he's in norcal like he says then there is no way he will be getting these beers before the 25th (when he's offering an IP trade). unless he had a mule who's flying the beers to him then i don't see how he could have them. if he's trying to set up an IP trade with beers he doesn't have then what's his plan, hit the whalebearer over the head and make off with the loot?

 

I would out him (okay, for those of us who did an easy search he is already outed- and he is on my no trade list now) as an unresponsive trader. Personally I have a very bad feeling about this one, sounds like a jojo just getting warmed up.

For those not swift enough to figure it out he is last name on my "non-advocates" list on my profile page.

 

If he hadn't been posting in the trade forum and 6 days went by, that would not be enough time to out him. But seeing he has received his beer, hasn't responded to your BMs and is making posts recently, then he needs to be called out. Send him an ultimatum and if he doesn't come through soon, time to put him on the bad traders list.

Yikes...seems I got lucky with my first trade and vice versa...both packages are en route...and mine is certainly as stated and more...I think a trade shafting would send me hunting.
