Question on whether beer is still good?

    Thanks for looking,

    Picked up a couple bottles of petite mutant from Alchemist last year and lost them in a move. Randomly found them today unpacking a box and wanted to see if they’re worth drinking now? The bottle states they’re ready to drink immediately but I’m not sure if they age well.

    Any recommendations?

    They will definitely still be drinkable and more than likely still be very good. The bretty and sour elements of it will probably be greater than they were on release, but it hasn't been crazy long since it came out. If you're into that it's quite likely it's even better now than it was then.

    I drank one in August. It was fine. Had first about a month after release. I didn't perceive a huge difference between the two. It was stored in my cellar at about 50 degrees year round.
