Questions about reviewing Places

    This might be less of a discussion topic and more of a suggestion/observation thread, but I noticed when doing my latest "place" review that the results differ from beer reviews because beer reviews show my rDev and place reviews don't. I'm curious how my rating fits within the distribution of other reviews, beyond just comparing my average with the average of other reviewers. Also, it is unclear how the various rated attributes affect my overall score for a place, but it appears that really poor service has relatively little effect, yet if the service sucks I'm not going back.

    Your last place review is the only review for that place, so there won't be an rDev yet.
    No plans to add rating distributions.
    It's not listed, but it goes something kind of like this:
    • Vibe = 10%
    • Quality = 30%
    • Service = 25%
    • Selection = 25%
    • Food = 10%

    Actually, my edited review for Brewery X (updated today) is what triggered my post, but now I see an rDev, so maybe I missed it, but I do appreciate your explanation of how the attributes are weighted.
