So my boyfriend and I have a Nostalgia Electrics Kegerator (the KRS2100 I believe), not the greatest but it gets the job done. It has a single draft tower and I wanted to upgrade the draft tower to a double for his birthday. The draft tower just twisted into place, I don't remember screwing it in at all, and all of the draft towers I've looked at do not share this feature. If anyone has the same unit and has upgraded to a double draft tower, I would love to know how you did it. I'm worried about drilling into coolant lines and just totally messing up the whole thing. Also, did you use a kit to make the upgrade, since I know that we have to get the co2 line split? thanks in advance!

you should determine the type of tower you currently have. it is likely 3" diameter and secured with 4 screws. lift the escutcheon (that's what its called...) and there should be 4 screws holding the tower in place.
you can remove the screws and remove the tower. you will need to disconnect the line from the coupler, then just remove the whole works.

    replace with something like this

if your tower is not standard, you may be able to modify the tower with this

you might want to talk to northern brewer about your setup, they may know if the expansion kit works with your model.

you will also need either a secondary regulator

    or a splitter

which wont allow for two different pressure like a secondary would.

    Good luck.

be sure you can fit two sixtels into your kegerator before you make the switch.

we have two corney kegs that fit inside just fine, and the tower is 3" in diameter but it just twists into the top of the fridge. the replacement link you sent me is similar to the one I have picked out for him, I am just worried about air leaking out if we just drill in a new tower over the existing space. thanks for your input it does help a lot!

I think Nostalgia is the only manufacturer that uses that twist lock tower. They do sell a double tap kegerator, it may be easier to contact them and see if their double tower is available as a direct replacement for the single before you go drilling holes.
