I'm really looking forward to trying Tilquin's Quetsche.

I think I heard about it appearing in Gordon's in Waltham yesterday, but has it appeared anywhere else in MA (or even southern NH, for that matter)?

    Thanks!

Replying to my own thread in case others want to hear about it: apparently Julio's just got some 375s and 750s in.

They didn't post it yet, and I won't be able to get there to find out.

Is that carbonation thing still a problem in the 750s? Or was it all just a dream?

I believe the issue was with the 375s.

Just had a buddy pick some up for me at Ball Sq. Liquors. Apparently the 375ml is $20 and the $750 is $36 (but don't quote me, my memory sucks).

    Thats outrageous. I bought 3 375s in Maine for $15 a piece and a 750 for $30.

Yeah. Way overpriced, especially for the 375ml. Apparently Julio's has them at $12 and $35.

Liquor World had the 375 ml one for $18. Couldn't pull the trigger at that price.

The 375's were $19, with the 15% off they were a good deal.

15% off of 19 isn't a good deal. Then add tax.

No tax on alcohol sales in MA. A nickel for the bottle deposit.

Yankee in Sturbridge has 750's priced at 37.99
I immediately shit my pants, and then left empty handed.

WTF is going on here, seriously.

Is it made from gold-encrusted plums that were aged in diamond mines for a decade, or what?

whining about the price of a rare, excellent sour belgian beer that's "cheap" at $15/bottle is losing the plot on several levels.
